Photography Fred FraserI have a little black sketchbook where I jot down my ideas. It's especially useful to work out elaborate hairstyles or to convey art direction themes. Lots of times the actual implementation strays from the concept, but sometimes you can see where the idea comes through. Here are some "before and afters" of my thought processes.
